This plays very well in single player! The AI gives an appropriate benchmark to compete against, and the campaign mode makes the individual games matter towards a bigger progression. If anything, it’s ‘too easy’ as the computer will automatically ensure that all tiles are placed legally, which removes the fun of watching an opponent break apart when leaving the dock. :-). Already played through the campaign when it came out on mobile and it was a blast. I am happy you decided to release GT right after TTA. Still hoping for the official Turn Processor for Space Alert: including the new frontier would be great but the base game alone would be something as well...Maybe someday :)Until that day... lets see if i can beat the campaign again :D. When I picked this up I expected to maybe waste an hour or two...Turns out the game got me hooked instantly and suddenly I was 6 hours into the campaign. Sticking your space ship togther is just such a great concept. Only problem is the encounter variety in the main campaign, but the alien tech expansion fixes that. It's nice to see an IOS game that isn't just a money grabbing scheme :). This is the PC port of a mobile game adaptation of one of the best board games around. What's the game about? You're a TRUCKER IN SPAAAAACE. But you're not just flying any old truck through space, you're flying a precarious structure that you've bolted together yourself out of prefab homes and sewerage components!Start with a main crew cabin, bolt on some cargo holds, maybe some guns, definitely an engine...of course there are multiple connector types for joining components, so it can be a bit harder than you'd think to find a component that will plug in.Once it's all duct-taped together, you fly it through space! Get smashed up by asteroids, shot at by pirates, kidnapped by slavers, and watch your carefully crafted ship get mangled in hilarious ways.I bought this for the multiplayer, but so far I've been too engrossed in the single player campaign to try the multiplay.. Great casual game turn based game. The tutorial was a smooth experience and easy to pick up. This is a digital board game and each ship build for a mission will be based upon the type of adventure or event cards you will get on your next run, you can preview 3/4 of these to help determine what kind of ship you will throw together. Will it be light on weapons but have lots of cargo slots or lots of crew and shields with some cargo. Some choices will have you move back in the order as their are other ships doing the same run. I highly recommend this game!. A faithful adaptation to the board game that speeds up play and adds some quirky animations to bring it to life!. Holy crap! Galaxy Trucker! It's a port of the mobile version, but that's not a complaint. I freaking love that game. With the mouse controls being more accurate, I definitely prefer the PC version over mobile. So stoked this came out, been looking for a PC version for ages.
